Dubai Invitational 2024
Chairman's note: As stated last week, going forward we'll focus mainly on our picks and leave the reviews for the people who enjoy that. With all the data we've accumulated we will make some new tools to help our members bet better.
Here's the list of some sites / people who deliver enjoyable previews in our opinion:
Betting card for the week
We started last week with a solid weeks in top10, top20 and H2H markets. Winner market was profitable for first two rounds (+20% & +26,4%) and those who cashed early made solid profits.
Profits could've been made even cashing out the winner market with -10% before final round but if you ended up gambling you made around -20% for the week because of losses in the market.
This highlights the different scenarios that exchanges deliver. The closer you'll get to the finish line, the more risk you take.
For overview of results - see the page which will be updated during this week. That'll track every bet and outline winner market with different strategies for cashing out for the whole year. We want to see which strategy works best for the long term and will update about this during the year.
For model's ranking and data - visit the renewed Tools page here.
Here are the bets for Dubai - we decided to take a bit of -ev positions since the market and predictions are so heavily tilted towards Rory who is the reason we took only 10% of the winner market this week.
In addition we played the following H2H matchups with 2 units:
- Sebastian Soderberg @ 2.02 vs. Adrian Otaegui
- Thriston Lawrence @ 2.04 vs. Yannik Paul
- Hennie Du Plessis @ 2.02 vs. Romain Langasque
All the bets here are placed on Betfair Exchange (signup here). We will share some other bet types in the future as well as long as our members find sites where we can bet on. Please DM me your favorites (that work in Europe in X, chairman's handle is @GolfBettingM)
Good luck with the bets and enjoy the first week with two main tours up and running!
